Before you get in touch, you might find it helpful to check the following:

Your policy schedule - it lists who is insured on your policy, the cover options you chose, your unique policy number and the personal details you gave us.

Your policy cover excesses - your policy schedule lists the excesses payable when you make a claim.

Be prepared for the unexpected

Accidents are upsetting, so when you find yourself involved in one, you can easily forget to note down the details required to make a claim.

Before you notify us of a claim it'd be helpful if you can have the following to hand:

Names and addresses of everyone involved in the incident including passengers, phone numbers, registration numbers and makes and models of vehicles involved, insurers' details and policy numbers, details of whether or not the police attended, digital photos and details of any witnesses.

Let us know before arranging repairs or sorting out a replacement car.
